Since its inception, El Naturalista has had a commitment to help others, especially needy children – the smallest, the disabled, the abandoned. El Naturalista embarked on its humanitarian work with the creation of the NASCA shoe line and the Atauchi Project. The company donates 1 Euro to the project for each pair of shoes sold from the NASCA line. This amount represents more than 2% of the wholesale price, and is a higher percentage than El Naturalista’s profit. Our social conscience compels us to make this commitment, but we also find it very satisfying.
The Atauchi Project is the human face of El Naturalista. Everyone at El Naturalista
has passionately embraced the humanitarian goals of the Atauchi Project.
To date, El Naturalista has donated 150.000 Euros to the non-profit ProPerú through the Atauchi Project. These funds came from the sale of shoes in El Naturalista’s Nasca Collection. The Atauchi Project receives 1 Euro for each pair of shoes from the Nasca Collection that El Naturalista sells.
El Naturalista will continue this practice, and beginning in 2008 will increase its commitment to the Atauchi Project by also donating 1 Euro for each pair of shoes sold through the online store at their website.
